Linsay Coleridge Smith (BHS II) - Equestrian Manager

Linsay is a BD accredited trainer, & U21s UK Regional trainer.

Linsay is responsible for the training and development of the youngsters and competition horses at WfD. She works with clients providing schooling for horses, and lessons for riders to meet individual needs.

Linsay overseas the professional development of the staff at WfD, she teaches the team on their own horses and provides ongoing training for staff ranging from backing a young horse to developing advanced skills on schoolmasters. Linsay is able to offer training as part of the BD Apprenticeship scheme.

Having benefited from professional training at a number of prestigious bases (including Catherston Stud with Jennie Lorriston Clarke, Talland with Pammy Hutton and Active Equestrian with Nicola McGivern), Linsay has produced and competed horse to Inter 2 level, and competed at Regional and National championships. She is currently riding horses ranging from novice to small tour.

Alice Perry - Senior Groom/Rider

Alice joined WfD 2 years ago having gained her degree at Nottingham Trent University. During her time at WfD she has progressed to the position of senior groom/rider and is actively developing her leadership and management skills.

Alice owns Paddy who is being successfully introduced to dressage. Having qualified for the Pet Plan national championships in prelim, Alice is aiming to qualify for the summer regional championships.

Alice is skilled at working with young horses, and she works with Linsay on producing youngsters and preparing them for sale. She is actively involved in supporting our B.D. apprentice.
